BOL D'OR. 15H RACING.

Just after the 14 hours of racing, the safety car is once again entering the Paul Ricard circuit. Indeed, we saw smoke and commissioners and machines are deployed to clean the track following a suspicion of presence of oil. The procedure will last about twenty minutes.

This procedure will benefit the bike #5 which was in second position because the gap is reduced to only two seconds.

So it is once again under safety because the GMT94 Yamaga R1 will carry out a refueling during which David Checa leaves the handlebars to Niccolò Canepa, which then leaves in second position, to more than 40 seconds of the head.

We must now consider the second distribution of bonus points, after 16 hours of racing, on the same scale as that after 8 hours of racing.


Christophe Guyot : “The safety car came back on track when we had to refuel, so we are doing a very bad operation. We were 25 seconds ahead of #5 so it caught up with us and the refueling takes us a lot more time. It's a shame, on 4 pace car we lost three times. We lose big seconds each time. It is part of the rules of the game but the first time that the accident makes that two safety cars come exactly at the end of our relay. But the race is still long, we will continue to attack again and again to return.
