This Wednesday, April 27, the GMT94 Yamaha team was in Créteil (Val-de-Marne – France) to participate in a day of prevention to road safety. Mathias Cidere, Simon Boudinski and Rémi Guyot were there to welcome about 100 school children from the area. The team talked to children about the advantages and risks of riding a two-wheeler, as well as the existence of the Circuit Carole near Paris. Andy Verdoïa’s motorcycle and his equipment were exposed to explain the safety equipment available to a competition rider.
This day was also an opportunity to talk about the jobs related to car and motorcycle racing. The Jacques Brel high school (Choisy-le-Roi) offers one of the most recognized technician trainings in France, which makes the Val-de-Marne a breeding ground for good mechanics and engineers.
Motorcycle clubs, associations, the RATP and the Police have animated workshops throughout a successful day. The children left it with smiles. The GMT94 team would like to thank the city of Créteil and the department of Val-de-Marne for the organization of this great event.
