15 September 2020

Flash News

Every year since its creation, the GMT94 Team has been involved in the French Superbike Championship. The team holds four French championship titles and has supported many French riders. Since its arrival in the World Supersport Championship, the GMT94 has amplified its projects for young people racing in a national championship. The French team thus supports some young riders. Christophe Guyot was present at the Carole circuit for the race which took place there at the end of August. On the weekend of September 13th, the third round of the French Superbike Championship took place.

Martin Renaudin (22 years old), currently racing in the Superbike class on a Yamaha R1 prepared by his father, Jean-Michel, discovers one by one the circuits on his new machine. With several victories in French Supersport in 2019, Martin wants to give himself the chance to get a good bike in EWC. The young french rider is currently with the Junior Team Le Mans Sud in EWC, renowned for having trained a good number of SERT riders. By regularly finishing in the top 10 scratch, Martin is currently 2nd in the Challenger classification (youth category), with a 7th place as best result.

Maximilien Bau (21 years old), participates in the Supersport category. After a difficult start, the reigning champion has made a three podium finishes on the Carole and Lédenon circuits. Following his victory, Maximilien is trying to improve his 2019 times on each circuit.

Luca Cersosimo (17 years old), also riding a Yamaha R6, is discovering the 600cc category this year. Regularly fighting for the top 10 scratch, Luca trains relentlessly to make quick progress. By finishing on the podium of the Promosport 600cc round on the Carole circuit, Luca impressed by his capacity to improve. Congratulations to him.

Marcus Delestre (17 years old), from the “bLu cRu”, a great lift created and organised by YAMAHA, works regularly to adapt to his new Yamaha R6. By finishing in the points at each race, Marcus learns intelligently and progresses step by step.

Lucien Vaudry ( 17 years old ) continues his progression. He doesn’t lack motivation and energy to work harder and harder. His lap times are improving and the first points should be offered to him soon.

Florent Tourné (30 years old), winner of the Stock Cup 2019,  joined in Magny-Cours and Ledenon the highest level of the French Championship. He finished in the points, and continue to improve to get closer to the front.

The GMT94 would like to thank Ermax, France Equipement, GB Racing, Ixon, Gaerne, PP Tuning, Circuit Carole, Les 2 Roues, and KS Tools for their participation and their indispensable technical support in this project for young people.
