Race resume

This weekend the penultimate round of the French Superbike Championship took place at the Carole circuit (93). The riders helped by the GMT94 Yamaha within its youth project impressed on the French track.

Valentin Debise won both races in the Supersport category, and thus clinched his second consecutive French Supersport Championship title. Martin Renaudin won the French Superbike Challenger title (-27 years old), after a podium in race 1. Valentin Debise was fighting for the victory in Race 1 when he broke his left half handlebar. He couldn’t finish the race. He still won the second race, and remains in the lead of the Superbike championship, ahead of an excellent Kenny Foray.

In the 600 class, Loic Arbel was unfortunately injured in race 1, following a collision with Enzo de la Vega. The whole team wishes him a quick recovery. Johan Gimbert confirms by finishing twice 2nd, in front of Matthieu Gregorio who will participate in the World Superbike round in Magny-Cours with the support of GMT94. Bartholomé Perrin got his best result of the season with a good 4th place in Race 2. Luca Cersosimo was also in the fight for the top 5 before crashing on the last lap.

Sunday’s race at Assen (Netherlands) was not all plain sailing for the GMT94 riders.
