Aragon - Spain

Race resume

After an excellent weekend, the GMT94 team is still in Aragón for another round of the World Supersport Championship. During the FP1 big changes have been prepared for Jules and Corentin. After many laps, the two GMT94 riders preferred to go back to the settings of the previous weekend.

In FP2, Jules Cluzel found himself fighting with the same riders as in race 2 of last week. By finishing 5th, Jules collected a lot of information for tomorrow’s race. Some adjustments will have to be made by Christophe Guyot’s team, but the objective remains the same here: the podium. On Corentin’s side FP2 was a little bit more difficult, he finished 14th.

Jules Cluzel: “This morning we decided to make some big changes to the bike. They were interesting, however we were going to lack time to be efficient from Saturday’s race. So we preferred to go back in FP2 to be sure to be on the podium this weekend. This orientation is still interesting, and is certainly worth trying in the future“.

Corentin Perolari: “For my part, I didn’t like the set-up this morning. I knew right away that I would prefer my settings from last week. In FP2 everything was the way I wanted it to be, but the heat made me lose grip at the rear. I hope to score some good points this weekend“.

See you tomorrow at 11.40am for Superpole, then at 3.15pm for the race, live on Eurosport.
