Lucas Mahias' debut

Lucas Mahias made his breakthrough on the European scene in 2011, competing in the Spanish and German championships. Crowned French Supersport Champion in 2014, he took his place on the WorldSSP grid the following season, claiming his first podium. The year 2016 saw Lucas Mahias clinch the World Endurance Championship title after 2 victories with GMT94 (12h Estoril and 8h Oschersleben). Lucas Mahias also made occasional appearances in Superstock 1000 with 3 victories and in FSBK with a win at Albi with GMT94.

Lucas Mahias' development

Signed full-time in 2017 with the GRT Yamaha Official WorldSSP Team, he won the World Supersport Championship title at the final round in Qatar. In 2020 he decided to take on a new challenge in the Superbike category.

Lucas Mahias' return at GMT94

Lucas Mahias joins GMT94 Yamaha for the 2024 season in the World Supersport Championship. The French rider, author of 8 poles, 30 podiums and 9 victories in the category, is riding the number 94 for the French team. On a Yamaha R6 for his first season, this iconic motorcycle will be replaced in 2025, by the New Generation R9.
