Discover the French duos, or French riders, who compete permanently in the Sidecar World Championship.
For many years, GMT94 has been supporting French riders competing in the Sidecar World Championship.
The Sidecar World Championship represents the highest level in this discipline. Despite this, French crews competing at the top level worldwide do not always receive the recognition they deserve. To address this, GMT94 has regularly communicated throughout the year to help them gain visibility.
In addition, many sidecar riders were present at the Frissons 2025 event alongside GMT94, offering guests rides in sidecars, some of which compete in the World Championship. A great showcase of their spirit and mentality.

It was in 2023 that Harrison Payne (Rider) and Kevin Rousseau (Passenger), also called the “Singe”) formed a team for the first time in the World Championship. The rest is history. Their first season in 2023 saw them take the fifth place in the overall standings, followed by two consecutive world titles in 2024 and 2025.
Yet, nothing initially predicted Kevin Rousseau’s future in Sidecar racing. Before becoming a formidable passenger, Kevin first made his mark on two wheels, including several participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
In 2014, Kévin began racing in Sidecar as a passenger, also known as the “Singe”. This led him to 6 French Championship titles between 2014 and 2019 with his rider Sébastien Delannoy. He also competed in numerous road races, including several participations in the legendary Isle of Man Tourist Trophy.
The collaboration between Todd Ellis (Rider) and Emmanuelle Clément (Passenger) began in 2021. The French passenger joined her English rider to achieve the World Championship runner-up title in their very first season, 2021.
Determined to do even better, the Franco-British duo went on to become two-time World Champions in 2022 and 2023. With this achievement, Frenchwoman Emmanuelle Clément became the only French female Sidecar World Champion in history.

This year, Ema Salmon was the passenger for Paul Kirby. In 2025, they competed in both the Sidecar World Championship and the British Championship. It was a season with strong results, encouraging for the 2026 season!
Ema Salmon has experienced victory before: in 2024, she became runner-up in Germany with Lukas Wyssen as her rider at the time.
The 2025 season allowed the 100% French duo of Paul Leglise (Rider) and Marjorie Cescutti (Passenger), to claim their first podium together during the World Championship round in Most! This podium gives them great hopes for next season!
