Podium for Cluzel, p6 of Perolari ! GMT94 is 2nd at the world team standings !

Race resume

After a great start from the two Yamaha R6 GMT94 which took the lead, Corentin Perolari defended his position hard, allowing Jules to keep the first position for several laps. After hard braking and incredible overtakes , Corentin made the show from one end of the race to the other. Jules Cluzel was focused on catching up the few tenths that separated him from the first, making quick laps without making any mistakes.
With 200 points, Jules Cluzel finished 3rd in the World Supersport Championship, at 13 points from the title, Corentin finished this season in 8th place, taking the GMT94 to 2nd place in the overall team ranking!

Christophe Guyot: “At the beginning of the last three races of the season, we were 48 points behind the leader, we caught up with 35, this excellent end of the season for the two GMT94 riders, allows us to win the world vice-champion title in the team ranking for his first full year in the World Supersport Championship. Congrats to Krummenacher for his title, next year promises to be an exciting one! »

Jules Cluzel: “I gave it all during the race, but the winner was just a little faster. We have made progress throughout the season, and we are finishing it off on a high note! This is the first I score points to every races, I look forward to next year, we will continue together with the GMT94, which promises great things for the future! »

Corentin Perolari: “I did everything I could to help Jules during this race, and to fulfill my role as a teammate as best I could. I finish this season with two great races, with one pole and two races at the front. This winter I will have to keep working to get one more step closer and be able to play for victory. I can’t wait for 2020. »
