ick Hobelsberger, current leader of the German Supersport Championship (IDM) will compete in the fifth round of the FIM Supersport World Championship with a GMT94 Yamaha R6.

Valentin Debise will replace Federico Caricasulo at GMT94 Yamaha for round six of the FIM Supersport World Championship at Most in the Czech Republic, after the team and Caricasulo parted ways by mutual consent after a disappointing weekend in Assen.

Many French riders have seen their careers launched thanks to the national championship. Let’s mention Sylvain Guintoli, Randy de Puniet, Arnaud Vincent, Jules Cluzel, Christian Sarron or Lucas Mahias, French champion in 2014, then World Supersport champion in 2016 and 2017.

Six races on the twenty-four of the 2021 season were concluded after Misano (Italy) Race 2 on Sunday 13th June.

Federico Caricasulo (24 years old – Italy) will be Jules Cluzel’s new teammate for the 2021 season on the GMT94 team. Italian champion in 2014 and World Supersport runner-up in 2019, Federico Caricasulo is a long-time member or the Yamaha family.

Each year, Christophe Guyot’s team and the GMT94 partners provide technical support to young French riders, who are racing in FSBK.
