The World WCR was created in 2024. Two French riders have signed up, Ornella Ongaro and Emily Bondy.
A third young woman, 21-year-old Lucie Boudesseul, will compete in the FIM World Championship. To make this possible, the support of a permanent WSBK team was needed, and GMT94 opened the door for Lucie to make her World 2025 debut.

Lucie caused a sensation in the 1000 cm3 class, finishing on the podium of the mixed European bike championship on several occasions, setting the fastest time ever achieved by a female rider on the Carole circuit. 1’01″6: the time will speak for the specialists. Following this performance, Yamaha France made a Yamaha R7 available to GMT94 in September 2024, and Lucie immediately felt at home on it.

Christophe Guyot: “In 2024, we were very attentive to the first edition of this new world championship dedicated to women’s sport. We supported the French representatives Ornella Ongaro and Emily Bondi by publicizing their results, and lending equipment and technicians for certain events. Lucie will be joining them to reinforce France’s presence at the highest level of women’s sport. GMT94 is delighted to support Lucie Boudesseul, a young and promising rider, for the 2025 Women’s World Championship.

Lucie Boudesseul: “I’m delighted to announce some great news: I’ll be taking part in the World WCR next season! It’s an incredible step forward in my career, and joining a World Championship is a real dream. I’d like to thank GMT94 and Christophe Guyot enormously for this opportunity and for my place in the World Championship. Training is already well underway, and I’m ultra-motivated to take up this challenge. We’ve got a great season ahead of us, and I can’t wait to discover all that the Mondial has to offer!
