Race resume

During FP1, Jules Cluzel had some electronic problems in the last corner, which did not allow him to ride as he would have liked. In the afternoon, the French rider set the 2nd fastest time of the day in warmer conditions. A good performance for Jules.

After finishing first in FP1, Federico Caricasulo wanted to work on his race pace in FP2. He also managed to set the third fastest time of the day, improving his time with used tyres. The Italian made a big step today. Two great races await the WorldSSP fans, with both GMT94 riders in a position to challenge for victory.

Jules Cluzel: “This morning we unfortunately lost some time on track. I was able to make up for it in the afternoon but I was a bit slower in the last corner. Despite that I am confident for tomorrow, we worked well with the team, and our 2020 set-up gave us a good base to work from.”

Federico Caricasulo: “I’m really happy today because we have made a step forward with the bike. I now feel confident with my front end. We adjusted some settings on the tyre pressure, suspension and engine brake. We are ready for the race.

See you tomorrow at 10.25am (local time) live on Eurosport for the Superpole, then at 03.15pm for Race 1!
