Race resume

The second day of preparation is ending.

GMT94 Yamaha is ready for tomorrow morning practice sessions. They will start at 9.10 am (local time). The whole team got up early this morning. The box is operational, and mechanics are working on the latest bikes’ settings. The atmosphere is tinged with various emotions: joy, stress and impatience are here! And the riders are eager to ride.

Christophe Guyot: “We feel ready for this first race of the season. The first free practices, which take place tomorrow, are crucial to complete what has been achieved in Jerez (Spain) and Portimão (Portugal). The team is motivated and eager to see the Yamaha “16” and “94” on the track tomorrow morning.”

Corentin Perolari (94): “I’m yearning for riding on this track. I want to have fun, but also to progress to deliver my best performance during the race. I am fortunate to have the support of Niccolò Canepa, who gives me valuable advice in the absence of Rémi Guyot (unavailable for Australia and Thailand). I cannot wait for tomorrow!

Jules Cluzel (16): “I’m happy to be in Australia and back on my bike. I had a good feeling in Portimão, and we still make some adjustments so that I feel more comfortable on the machine. Nevertheless, I’m caring about the difference between the cold weather conditions that will be encountered during practices and the heat that is announced for the race. We will have to be very careful about our tires. The conditions are the same for everyone, and each rider knows how difficult this track can be because of this shift.
