Circuit Carole

Test

This Friday, the current leader of the French Supersport and Superbike Championship, went to the Circuit Carole for a day of tests on the Yamaha R6 GMT94. The aim of this session was to prepare the wild card that the rider from Albi will ride at the French WorldSSP Round in September.

The team has many references on the Carole circuit. J.Cluzel,F. Caricasulo, C.Perolari, R.Krummenacher and M.Bau have already discovered the Yamaha R6 of GMT94 on this track. The GMT94 has all the references to judge the level of a rider. Debise had a very good pace. He improved in each session to finish in 1’00.1.

Valentin Debise: “It’s great to have been able to discover the bike before arriving at Magny-Cours. The bike is very different from what I have in the French Championship. There are 30 more horses power, electronics, a clutch and totally different suspensions. So the limit is further away. I felt very comfortable, I had a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to get to Magny-Cours to show what I can do in the world championship.”

Christophe Guyot: “Valentin had a very good session. His feedback was excellent and helped validate the set-up we made for Jules and Federico in the World Championship. It’s very encouraging for his wild card, and for the whole GMT94 championship.

The Youtube video maker Carbone 23 also tried out the GMT94 Yamaha R6 for a few laps and will release an inside video about his experience as a GMT94 supporter. Moto Revue also joined the team for a few hours to do some laps. A report on this test will be published in the next GP Racing magazine in September.

Finally, a group of young teenagers from GMT94 city, interested in mechanics and motorbikes, were able to experience this day alongside the team, concluding with a duo on a motorbike behind Christophe Guyot. A memorable day for these teenagers.
