The fourth round of the French Superbike Championship took place at Magny-Cours last weekend.
The stakes were high for the 600 Supersport riders, as the Championship leader at the end of the next round at Pau-Arnos will be awarded the wild-card for the French round of the World Championship at Magny-Cours. Four riders can still claim this place within the GMT94 Yamaha to ride the same Yamaha R6 as Valentin Debise, permanent rider of the world championship: Johan Gimbert the current leader with 144 points, Matthieu Gregorio with 123 points, Enzo De La Vega with 120 points and Loïc Arbel with 99 points. While Johan Gimbert seemed to be the favourite after a pole position and a lap record, Matthieu Gregorio got the best out of his Yamaha R6 to take victory in race 1. Enzo de la Vega and Loïc Arbel completed the podium. In race 2 it was Johan Gimbert who took revenge for a small mistake in the morning and crossed the finish line ahead of Matthieu Gregorio and Enzo de la Vega.

Supersport 300 :
Kevin Sabatucci won the first race for the Flembbo team in the Mondial 300, with Justine Pedemonte in 5th place. Julio Garcia Gonzales won the second race on the Flembbo team’s second bike. Justine Pedemonte finished in 4th position. Justine, supported by GMT94, will do her utmost to become the first woman in Pau to score a 2nd victory in the French speed championship.
Superbike 1000 :
Mickael Di Meglio wins the first race and Kenny Foray the second. Martin Renaudin, the GMT94-backed rider, finished 7th in races 1 and 2 on Sunday. The battle raged on in the Superbike category, which brought together the best French riders who also compete in the World Endurance Championship.
