WSSP Most 2026 : results for GMT94 riders Lucas Mahias and Roberto Garcia 

This weekend, the Most circuit hosted the fifth round of the Supersport World Championship.

On a track he particularly enjoys, Lucas Mahias performed well right from Friday’s qualifying session. Despite a session disrupted by numerous yellow flags, the French rider managed to set an excellent lap time, securing him a place on the front row and putting him in the best possible position for Saturday.

In Race 1, number 94 once again distinguished himself with an excellent start, taking the lead right from the first corner. Immediately finding his rhythm, he was incisive in defending his position. In the final laps, his duel with rival Jaume Masia provided a superb spectacle for the crowd. The 2017 Supersport World Champion ultimately finished in a solid fifth place and set the third-fastest lap of the race, securing him another front-row start for Sunday.

Starting with a full tank of fuel during Sunday morning’s warm-up, Lucas managed to set the second-fastest time, a good omen for Race 2.

After an excellent start, the French rider found himself in second place on the first lap. In a position to aim for a very good result, Lucas battled throughout the race on his Yamaha R9. However, a crash late in the race prevented the GMT94 rider from making it onto the podium.

Meanwhile, Roberto Garcia was experiencing the Czech circuit for the first time. He didn’t take long, however, to find his feet on the Yamaha R9. Right from qualifying, he was among the frontrunners. Starting fifth on the grid on Saturday, the number 37 rider quickly moved into the top three, determined to secure a podium finish. Engaged in a fierce battle, the GMT94 rider even managed to take the lead. With six laps to go, the podium seemed within his grasp, but a technical issue forced him to return to the pits.

Having set the Supersport track record during Sunday morning’s warm-up, Roberto Garcia was ready to give it his all for Race 2.

A strong start from the grid saw the Spanish rider quickly move into the leading group. Very comfortable with overtaking, Roberto managed to break into the top three without delay. However, a crash forced him to retire, though this did not dent his confidence for the rest of the season.

The GMT94 Yamaha team is now looking ahead to the next round in the WSSP calendar, which will take place at MotorLand Aragón (Spain) on 29, 30 and 31 May.
