D-2 : First session of free practices of the weekend

22 February 2019

Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit

Race resume

At the end of the first session, Jules Cluzel and Corentin Perolari finish respectively fifth and ninth. During this session, the team and riders took advantage of its preparation to the flag-to-flag (N.B. : the tire longevity is an issue, regulation imposes a stop at all the riders at the same time towards the middle of the race to minimize the risk of burst).

In the second session, Jules Cluzel ends first and Corentin Perolari eleventh. Jules is one of the few who has managed to improve his time.

The average of the two sessions places Jules Cluzel forth and Corentin Perolari ninth.

Christophe Guyot: “We are really satisfied with the FP2 by Jules [Cluzel], he was the fastest rider on the track this afternoon. Of course, we have not won yet. Phillip Island is a reputedly complex track, which requires continuous adjustments. But this first place shows that our bike adapts to the track.”
