Race resume

After an electronic test in Free Practice 3, GMT94 Yamaha got ready for the Superpole. Corentin Perolari was able to improve each round during this session, while Jules Cluzel was focused on settings.

During the Superpole, both riders have been blocked by slower riders. Jules Cluzel ended on the 4th position and Corentin on the 8th. While Corentin was doing his fastest lap, he suddenly crashed but thanks god without any consequences for his health. Jules Cluzel had difficulties to find a clear lap in order to get a first row.

GMT94 Yamaha has both bikes on good positions and this is important for tomorrow’s race.

Corentin Perolari : ” I am a bit disappointed as I was able to fight for the top 5, however this Superpole is the best one since the beginning of the season. I’m finally ready to race !”

Jules Cluzel : “4th is not that bad of course, but the first row was clearly our target. I was in advance in the first part of the circuit but after I have been blocked by a slower rider. The race will be intense and I will need to push hard to keep the leadership in the World Championship”.

Christophe Guyot : ” Superpole could have been better for us, but we are in good positions for the race of tomorrow. Our target is still to get both bikes into the Top 5. “

See you tomorrow at 12.00 a.m. live on Eurosport 2 France for the race start.
