P4 and P6 for GMT94 Yamaha riders in Assen

Riders were more confident regarding the weather, it was cooler than yesterday and they could be less stressed before the race. After a beautiful battle for the podium, Jules Cluzel finished the race in the 4th place, only 5 tenths off the winner. An opponent made Jules losing some precious seconds at the end of the race, but the GMT94 rider scored good points for the championship. 

Corentin Perolari has been in the leading group during a part of the race, and ended on the 6th position. The rider from Pont-Saint-Esprit continues his progression, and is fighting for the top 5 in the World Supersport Championship.

The whole team is really looking forward to Imola, where it will be, once again, the occasion to fight for the victory.

Christophe Guyot: “Our bike is now ready to win on every track of the championship. Jules made a great race, even if his performance is not well rewarded with the 4th place. Corentin also did a beautiful race, he fought with top riders, and is able to aim for the top 5 for the championship. This was a really good race for us.”

Jules Cluzel: “What a pleasure to ride on my Yamaha R6 ! Its behaviour allowed me to be really competitive. I’ve been blocked towards the end of the race, which stopped my dream of winning today’s race. I scored some good points for the championship.”

Corentin Perolari: “Assen was a great race for me, I had fun and I spent some laps with the leading group. I still miss few things to be able to fight for the top 5 and the podium, but we are getting closer and closer after each race. I’m ranked 6th in the championship, and I’m aiming for the top 5, that’s awesome.”
