P7 for Jules Cluzel in Imola

Race resume

Rain was announced, but it is in dry conditions the Supersport race took place, in Imola (Italy). After a great start, Jules Cluzel was first during many laps. Unfortunately, when Jules was fighting for top positions, an opponent hit him which obliged the GMT94 rider to go into gravels. Jules ended in 7^th position.

Jules Cluzel : “It’s a shame, once more we were able to be on the podium and to fight for the victory. However we had bad luck, even if we score a few points. It is now important to finish on the podium as soon as possible.”

Christophe Guyot : “Jules has been fast during the whole week end, we did improvements on the engine and we have the level to finish on podium at each race for sure. Next race will take place in Jerez and we are ready for it ! “

On March 14 and 15, GMT94 Yamaha travelled to Portimão (Portugal) for two days of testing with Lucas Mahiasand Roberto Garcia, in preparation for the second round of the Supersport World Championship, scheduled to take place on the same circuit from March 27 to 29.
