Race resume

Like every year, the WorldSBK paddock will be in Phillip Island (Australia) from February 23th to Match 1st, for the start of the 2020 season.

To aim for the podium will be Jules Cluzel’s goal during this first race. Corentin Perolari wants to keep his excellent pace of the end of the 2019 season, in order to get closer from the podium. This target will be important for the 94 bike, as for the whole GMT94 team who wants as much points as possible to fight for the World Championship Team Ranking.

Jules Cluzel : « After a good first year and great winter tests, our intentions are clear. We need to regularly finish on the podium to be in the running for the title. With my Yamaha R6 and the GMT94 team, I feel ready to reach it.”

Corentin Perolari : « The 2019 year has been difficult for me, moreover during the first half of the season. We missed the podium for a few seconds in Argentina after my first pole position. For 2020 I need to start as I finished 2019. I trained a lot this winter, I can’t wait to be in Australia !”

Christophe Guyot : « After a World Championship runner-up title in the team ranking, we start the 2020 season among championship favourites. This year the Australian stop will have a particular taste. We can thanks the association “Charity Stars” supported by the promotor Dorna, which will set up an auction with teams and riders items. Many people participated to it, GMT94 included, in order to bring their support to Australians people for the climate disaster they’ve just lived.”
