End of the two days of testing at the Aragon circuit

Aragon - Spain

Test

With two weeks to go until the World Supersport Championship resumes in Jerez (Spain), GMT94 completed two days of testing at the Aragón circuit. In 2020, two rounds and four races are on the schedule at this circuit. These tests were therefore of great importance. The new tyres supplied by Pirelli require adjustments to be made to the set-up acquired last year. The tests carried out during these two days will save precious minutes during the race weekends that await the French team.

Jules Cluzel was able to improve his pace of the 2019 race, as was Corentin Perolari. A real success for the GMT94 riders.

Jules Cluzel: “I finish these tests with a smile. The tyres offer totally different feedback to what we are used to using. I managed to adapt well, the team worked hard, and the result is a much better pace than in 2019. I can’t wait to start the season! »

Corentin Perolari: “These tests have enabled me to continue my adaptation to these tyres. We recorded some interesting data. I’m still a few tenths short of a lap to be with the leading group, but little by little I’m getting closer and closer. »

Rémi Guyot : ‘The team did a great job throughout June and July. The riders are in great shape. We’re looking forward to getting back to the race and see back Christophe in Jerez paddock.’

The second round of the World Supersport Championship starts on August 1st at the Jerez circuit, live on Eurosport.
