Pre-season tests

Pre-season tests are key moments for the GMT94 Yamaha team. Each year, the riders, mechanics and engineers gather for several days at a circuit during the winter to fine-tune their set-up, explore new strategies and adapt to the changing conditions of the various World Supersport and World Superbike championship circuits.

After two days of testing in Jerez (Spain), under mixed conditions, the team set off for Portimao (Portugal).
On the Spanish track, Jules and Corentin were able to test a number of settings adapted to the humidity level of the track.

Test

Jules Cluzel didn’t come in Circuit Carole since 14 years, and rediscovered the track with his Yamaha R6. Gear selector test has been made, in order to have a riding style more precise. Test have also been done on engine break and rear brake. Indeed, Jules doesn’t have a strong rear brake since he has the gear selector on the ride side.
