Test
Before going to Australia for the first round of World Supersport Championship, GMT94 had decided to train in Portugal to pursue the development of their 2019 Yamaha R6. This day allowed to Jules and Corentin to optimize the engine brake and suspensions performance.
Christophe Guyot : “We can be glad of this first day. A step has been crossed compared to Jerez and we’re now entering in details to make the bike easier to ride. Jules and Corentin feel the same things, so we know where we have to go for the development.”
Jules Cluzel : “I’m very happy of the progression we’ve made today, and of the 2019 engine. Despite a crash at the end of the day, I’m able to do interessant lap times. When we will be able to feel more the front, I will be able to push more and be more competitive.”
Corentin Perolari:” During the whole day I increased my rhythm. Today the goal was to be faster on long distances. Wind was very strong and made me lose the front, without any consequences as I have been able to pursue my progression.”
