Following his crash in Race 1 at Donington Park (England) last July, Jules Cluzel fractured his heel and two metatarsals in his right foot. After six weeks of convalescence in plaster, Jules received the approval of the doctors last Friday to start walking again. The GMT94 rider was also able to resume light bike training. His shoulder, which was also sore, is healing day by day. He is now able to gradually increase the intensity of his training sessions in order to get back to his best form. This is excellent news for the GMT94 Yamaha who hope to have their rider back at the Magny-Cours round. Jules still has ten days to recover before the race weekend, when he will have to meet the FIM doctor, who will decide if he can participate in the next WorldSSP round.
