Race resume

This first day at the Assen track was a constructive one for the GMT94 Yamaha riders.
Lorenzo Baldassarri continued his learning process on the Yamaha YZF-R1. The two free practice sessions allowed the World Supersport Championship runner-up to put in a series of laps and work on his bike’s settings. The Italian rider will be able to count on the experience and advice of manager Emililo Alzamora, who came to lend a hand to a motivated and constantly improving rider.

On the Supersport side, the twice Supersport Champion completed 44 laps. The Frenchman is confident with his bike and the settings that helped build the qualification on Saturday morning in order to place himself as well as possible on the starting grid of the race 1 that will take place in the afternoon.
