D-1 Last running session before the race

Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit

Race resume

The last official free practice session was held this morning. Jules Cluzel and Corentin Perolari finish respectively third and sixth of this session.

Following the qualifying session which ends at the moment, Jules Cluzel (16) will start on the front row and Corentin Perolari (94) in fourteenth position. Unfortunately for the latter, after making a change of wheel at the end of the session, he was embarrassed by an excessive amount of motorcycle on the track jeopardizing his chances of reaching the top 7.

Christophe Guyot: “Jules [Cluzel] has a very good qualifying session. This is the first time the GMT94 has placed a bike on the front row at the SuperSport World Championship since David Checa in 2006/2007. Corentin [Perolari] is necessarily disappointed with these qualifications, especially as he had a very good session this morning.
