Race resume

Winner in 2021, Jules Cluzel did not find the same sensations on a track made very delicate because of a completely renewed asphalt. The numerous crashes that occurred on Friday in Superbike and Supersport did not make the riders confident on a very tricky track. The bikes were all particularly unstable. It was then difficult to do fast laps. In these conditions, the result of the weekend remains positive since the two pilots score points during the two races (two Top 10 for Jules, and two 14th place for Andy). Congratulations to them. Andy Verdoia did a great warm-up by finishing 3rd. Jules set a solid pace in Race 2, which would have allowed him to fight for the top 5. Unfortunately, he was blocked at the start. He still managed to climb from 14th to 10th place before the red flag came out with 6 laps to go. Jules climbed back into the top 5 group by being one second per lap faster on the last two laps. The feeling was much better in this race 2, with a good strategic choice of the team concerning the tire strategy.

The whole team is preparing to go to Australia. It will be the last race for Jules Cluzel who had announced in Magny Cours (September) the end of his career at the end of this season 2022. Rendezvous on the mythical circuit of Phillip Island for a race that promises to be intense and full of emotions.
