Race resume

Once again, GMT94 Yamaha faced extremely cold conditions during Free Practice 3. Corentin Perolari ended on the 4th position, Jules Cluzel on the 6th.

The sky was threatening before the start of the Superpole. Corentin Perolari was doing a fast lap when an opponent broke his engine and made Corentin fall at high speed. Fortunately nothing happen to him and he ended on the 9th position. Jules Cluzel has been impacted by this issue too. During his fastest lap, the red flag came on and the lap was cancelled automatically. He will start from the 6th place on the grid tomorrow. The session started again after the red flag, but snow arrived on Assen circuit.

Christophe Guyot: “We didn’t have luck during the Superpole, but it could be worst. Corentin is fit and is still well placed on the grid. Jules is not where he should be, however he will fight for podium for sure.”

Jules Cluzel: “Of course I’m disappointed by bad luck we had during this session but it’s not the end of the race yet. Tomorrow is a new day and I’m ready to fight for better positions.”

Corentin Perolari: “What a bad luck ! I was able to fight for the 7th place, but flags were not out when I arrived on oil. The race direction took too much time to decide to put the red flag. I will start from P9, but tomorrow we can do better.”
