28 September 2024

Race resume

The sun shone down on the GMT94 Yamaha riders as they took part in Saturday’s races at the Aragon circuit (Spain).

In Supersport, Lucas Mahias started from the front row and was up front from the very first laps. The French rider then engaged in several duels with his rivals from the World Supersport Championship. The very high pace of the frontrunners gradually took over and Lucas found himself in 7th position. The 2017 World Champion found his strength and energy a few laps from the end to overtake and pull away from Can Oncu. Lucas finished in 6th place and will be hoping for a good result tomorrow.

In Superbike, Philipp Öttl finished in 17th place.
