Race resume

Lucas Mahias, increasingly confident with his Yamaha R9, entered the Superpole session with the firm intention of securing a good result. His first lap times immediately put the French rider in the lead. Showing a very good pace during his runs, the number 94 then headed for the pits for a final stop to fine-tune a few settings with his team. 6 minutes before the end of the session, the 2017 World Supersport Champion was able to restart and set a 2nd fastest time, putting him in the best possible position for tomorrow’s Race 1.

As for Michael Rinaldi, the Italian rider was 20th fastest, but can look forward to a strong race comeback.
