With a very strong pace throughout the practice sessions, Bartholomé Perrin secured pole position. The GMT94-supported riders all set excellent lap times and positioned themselves well for the start: Vincent Falcone (P5), Damien Marmion (P6), Cyprien Baby (P8, P1 Challenger), Gabin Cazard (P10), and Robin Sautereau (P17, P7 Challenger).
Race 1
Supported by GMT94, Bartholomé Perrin started his season with a podium finish, securing P2 in his first race. Vincent Falcone earned valuable points with a P4 finish. Three GMT94-backed riders—Gabin Cazard (P6), Damien Marmion (P7), and Cyprien Baby (P8)—engaged in a fierce battle throughout the race. Baby finished as the top Challenger. Robin Sautereau, also supported by GMT94, had to fight off Erwan Bossy for a single point, which he ultimately claimed. The rookie finished P5 in the Challenger category.
Race 2
After leading the race for a long time, Bartholomé Perrin set the pace but finished Race 2 in second place after being overtaken by Diego Poncet on the final lap. He leaves Le Mans third in the overall standings, just three points behind the leader. Damien Marmion, with lap times close to the front runners, secured P4 in Race 2. Cyprien Baby (P5, P1 Challenger) finished ahead of Gabin Cazard (P6), both backed by GMT94. Robin Sautereau had a weekend full of learning experiences (P17, P8 Challenger). Vincent Falcone crashed on the final lap while battling for P4.
YAMAHA Challenge 700
Qualifications
After dominating multiple practice sessions, Arthur Massy, supported by GMT94, was highly anticipated in qualifying. However, a crash prevented him from improving his time, placing him P7 on the grid. Gabin Cazard set the 9th fastest time. Clara Corale, competing in her first FSBK race, qualified P21. The top female rider had earlier set a brilliant 13th fastest time in the morning session.
Race 1
During the formation lap, light rain began falling on the Bugatti Circuit. Many riders opted for rain tires, leading to a delayed start. In chaotic conditions, two GMT94-supported riders got off to a great start. Gabin Cazard made a flying start and won Race 1. Arthur Massy, who held second place for a long time, eventually finished P3 (1st in Espoir category). Clara Corale, showing confidence, made an impressive comeback from P21 to P14, earning her first points.
Race 2
Jules Berçot dominated the race, while the two young GMT94-supported riders fought fiercely for second place within a group of six. Gabin Cazard secured P2 and now leads the overall 700cc standings. Arthur Massy (P5, P3 Espoir) collected valuable points for both rankings (3rd in Espoir, tied, and 4th overall). Clara Corale continued her learning experience, finishing P20. She now leads the women’s standings.
Side-Car
Sidecar duo Kévin Rousseau and Harry Payne have once again demonstrated the full extent of their talent. Starting P2 on the grid, they won the first race. Race 2 delivered a high-level battle between the duo supported by GMT94 and Markus Schlosser / Lucas Schmidt. The latter took the victory. The Franco-British team and the Swiss team are now tied at the top of the championship with equal points.
This Saturday at Assen (Netherlands), the GMT94 Yamaha riders took to the starting grid for race 1 of the World Supersport series.
