The GMT94 prepares for the 5th round of the WSSP Championship

This weekend, the World Superbike Championship will take place at Donington Park (England), just a few minutes drive from the city of Birmingham. The Supersport class, in which the GMT94 Yamaha is participating, returns to this circuit for the first time since 2019, where Jules Cluzel took a superb victory.

After two encouraging weekends at Estoril and Assen, the last round at Misano fell short of expectations. Jules Cluzel and Andy Verdoia are keen to get closer to the front, as they have been during the 2022 season. Andy Verdoia will be discovering the English track on a 600cc bike, as he has only ridden 300cc bikes on this circuit. He even took a podium in 2019.

Some improvements have been made by the GMT94 Yamaha team, notably to the fixed weight distribution on the bike, which weighs down both Jules and Andy’s bikes, due to the new 2022 regulations.
