20 April 2022

Assen - Netherlands

Race resume

This weekend, the second round of the World Supersport Championship takes place at the Assen circuit (Netherlands). The GMT94 team has set up its structure at the legendary Dutch track, on the beginning of this week. Close to the headquarters of Yamaha Europe, the Assen round is an important round of the season for the GMT94 Yamaha. Jules Cluzel and Andy Verdoïa will aim to do well.

Following a race below expectations at the Aragon circuit two weeks ago despite an excellent start to the week, the GMT94 Yamaha is doing its utmost to optimize its Yamaha R6 despite its new weight handicap introduced by the 2022 regulations. As usual, Christophe Guyot’s team continues to give its maximum to get back on the podium as soon as possible. Thus, solutions were brought in order to offer the two GMT94 riders a bike with optimal performances.
