Race resume

It was under a typically Catalan sun that the GMT94 Yamaha riders started their weekend on the Barcelona track.

In Supersport Valentin Debise started his Friday at the Spanish circuit with a very good rhythm in FP1. Unfortunately the French rider could not confirm his good form due to a technical problem in FP2. Valentin Debise and the team remain confident for tomorrow’s qualifying and race.

Lorenzo Baldassarri’s side continues to follow the roadmap, working and progressing on the Yamaha R1. Emilio Alzamora, the manager of the 2022 World Supersport Vice Champion, confirms that the team and the rider are heading in the right direction. Lorenzo can aim for the points this weekend, and that will depend on a good FP3 and a good qualifying session. It should be noted that the team did not test two weeks ago at the Barcelona circuit, unlike the other teams. The GMT94 wishes to keep its quota of tests to prepare at best Misano with 2 days of tests next week.
