Test

Lorenzo Baldassarri and Valentin Debise had appointment this Tuesday on the track of Phillip Island for a last day of test with the GMT94 Yamaha. Last positive tests before the first round of the WorldSBK in a few days.

For Lorenzo Baldassari the work pays off, the Italian rider clearly passed a milestone with a time of 1’31.990. In spite of a crash, the number 34 takes more and more confidence in the YAMAHA YZR-R1, he is now impatient to go to the serious things in some days for the beginning of the WorldSBK season.

As for Valentin Debise, the objective was to do more laps on the Yamaha YZF-R6 and to continue working on his feeling on the Australian track. The French rider feels more and more at ease, his best lap of 1’34.279 is the proof, which is a good omen for the opening of the Championship which will take place this weekend.

The whole team will now take advantage of the next few days to prepare and attack the first round of the Championship in the best possible conditions.
