The Superprestigio is an international event with the best motorbike riders on the planet, every categories included. It’s going to be the 6th edition, and the first in France organized by the famous Claude Michy (Director of the French GP).
The five last editions in Barcelona got two Flat-Track specialists as winner (Brad Baker and JD Beach) but also the MotoGP World Champion Marc Marquez.
In 2018, races will take place near Paris, in the U Arena (Nanterre) ! This stadium welcomes different main events as the Supercross of Paris, or the rugby games of the Racing Metro 92.
Rules are simple : the race will take place on a circle of 250 meters. Riders will get 450cm3 with rain tires but without front brake, forcing them to slide to slow down. We can already say that the show will be fantastic for sure. Riders are fighting to access to the Superfinale, to reach the first place and the title of « Superprestigio ».
Among the best riders, we count Johann Zarco, Fabio Quartararo, Loris Baz, Mike Di Meglio, David Checa, Thomas Chareyre, Antoine Méo, Fabio Di Giannnantonio and many more to come.
New comer of World Supersport Championship, the french rider of GMT94, Corentin Perolari will ride a Yamaha YZF-450 prepared by Alexandre Salvatore (Director of the biggest Yamaha shop in Europe « Les 2 Roues »).
Corentin Perolari: “I’m very glad to participate to Superprestigio. One more time GMT94 offer me a great opportunity. I will face international riders in a discipline I don’t know yet. Dirt-Track is really interesting for speed racing, and this event will be cool to keep going on my preparation for the 2019 season.”
Alexandre Salvatore: “Supermoto is in our DNA. To help GMT94 and young riders also. We already helped big names as Stéphane Peterhansel, Stéphane Chambon and David Checa. I know very well the YZF-450 Yamaha, and I will give my best to offer a healthy bike.”
Christophe Guyot: “The Superprestigio is coming in France due to Claude Michy. It has been an evidence for GMT94 to participate to it. Also, we continue the formation of Corentin Perolari. He will race into a disicipline he doesn’t know yet, and will learn a lot during the many races to come in Nanterre. I also would like to thank Alexandre Salvatore. Without him it would have been impossible to be there. It’s also a pleasure to work with an old friend of mine.”
