3 years after Jules Cluzel, Lorenzo Baldassarri and the GMT94 Yamaha once again broke the Circuit Carole record with a time of 58’869!

On Tuesday morning, Lorenzo Baldassarri and the Val de Marnaise team gathered at Circuit Carole for a practice session ahead of the next round of the World Championship Superbike at Donington.

Number 34 was able to complete a series of laps on his Yamaha R1 on the Carole circuit, and even set a very good time of 59.014 on Pirelli race tires.

With official FFM timing in place for this practice session, the team took the opportunity to fit the Yamaha R1 with Pirelli qualifying tires. Even if the appearance of a few raindrops disrupted this attempt.
