While he was leading the race on the circuit of Aragon, Jules Cluzel was hit by a rider at the beginning of the third lap. Taken to the hospital of Alcaniz, Jules underwent some tests that revealed a fracture of the tibia and the fibula.

After a very good start, Jules Cluzel led the race for two laps, before an opponent became too optimistic and collided with the GMT94 rider at the beginning of the third lap. Jules is currently being checked, we will give news about him as soon as possible.

After an impressive Superpole lap by Jules Cluzel in 1’53.1, the rider of the Yamaha GMT94 #16 broke the lap record dating from 2015, and was provisionally second on the grid for both races. Unfortunately, a yellow flag was brought out during Jules’ lap, which since this year automatically removes the fast laps of riders passing under this flag.

After an excellent weekend, the GMT94 team is still in Aragón for another round of the World Supersport Championship. During the FP1 big changes have been prepared for Jules and Corentin. After many laps, the two GMT94 riders preferred to go back to the settings of the previous weekend.

In this very special 2020 year, the World Supersport Championship has stayed on the Aragon circuit for a second round in a row. This beginning of the week was the occasion for the GMT94 Yamaha team to analyse the data from the races of Jules and Corentin.

It was after a race under high pressure that Jules Cluzel managed to take 2nd place. By finishing with two seconds to go, Jules was one second closer to the winner than yesterday. The pace was frantic for the leading riders.

After a missed qualification, notably because of the traffic on the track, Jules Cluzel and Corentin Perolari started this race from 4th and 9th place. After a superb start, Jules Cluzel led of the race several times with superb aspirations at the end of the straight.

After two days of testing at the Aragon circuit in July, the GMT94 team started this first day with different suspension settings. An adaptation time was necessary for the riders in FP1.

On the occasion of the 4th round of the World Supersport Championship, GMT94 is on the circuit of Aragon (Spain). Four races will take place over two weekends in a row. 100 points are thus to be distributed on the longest track of the season.

After leading the race for eight laps, the gap with the leader was closing. Jules Cluzel gave it his all and finished several seconds ahead of his direct 2019 rivals.
