It was after a race under high pressure that Jules Cluzel managed to take 2nd place. By finishing with two seconds to go, Jules was one second closer to the winner than yesterday. The pace was frantic for the leading riders.

After a missed qualification, notably because of the traffic on the track, Jules Cluzel and Corentin Perolari started this race from 4th and 9th place. After a superb start, Jules Cluzel led of the race several times with superb aspirations at the end of the straight.

After two days of testing at the Aragon circuit in July, the GMT94 team started this first day with different suspension settings. An adaptation time was necessary for the riders in FP1.

On the occasion of the 4th round of the World Supersport Championship, GMT94 is on the circuit of Aragon (Spain). Four races will take place over two weekends in a row. 100 points are thus to be distributed on the longest track of the season.

After leading the race for eight laps, the gap with the leader was closing. Jules Cluzel gave it his all and finished several seconds ahead of his direct 2019 rivals.

Having seen both of its riders in the lead following the final free practice session, qualifying and Saturday’s race promised great performances for the GMT94 riders. After setting the second and third fastest times in Superpole, Jules Cluzel and Corentin Perolari started the race with confidence.

Following a double podium finish in Jerez, the GMT94 team hit the road for round three of the World Supersport Championship at the Portimao circuit in Portugal.

Jules Cluzel fought with tenths of a second in the eleven laps of the race to finish second, 1.8 second behind the winner. On a track that didn’t always suit him, the #16 rider won forty precious points for the overall riders World Championship standings.

Following excellent qualifying, placing Jules Cluzel in 2nd place, and Corentin Perolari in 6th, the GMT94 team managed to score valuable points for the championship.

After a five-month interruption, the World Supersport Championship was back on track at the Jerez circuit. Following numerous set-up tests, Jules Cluzel managed to climb to fourth place (+0.4 sec), and Corentin Perolari to eighth (+1.1 sec).
