Jerez - Spain

Race resume

Weather was perfect and the sun was shining when World Supersport 600 started their sessions. The first pick of tyres made by GMT94 riders was not the best in FP1, which has been corrected in FP2 with a harder tyre. Jules Cluzel used those two sessions to test every possibilities in terms of electronics and suspensions settings. He finished 3rd of the day. After a crash in FP1 and a sensor problem in FP2, Corentin Perolari has completed just a few laps today. He ended 13th.

Corentin Perolari : “Chance was not on my side today. After a crash in FP1, we had a sensor problem due to this crash in FP2. I’m still confident, I feel great on the bike, my collarbone is strong, I have no pain and there is no reason I couldn’t do same results as I did previously in the season.”

Jules Cluzel : “ I’m glad because I did the fastest lap in FP2 than I did in QP in 2017. Two riders are faster than everybody for the moment, we will have to all prepare ourselves to get them. I feel good on the bike but still some time to gain.”
