Race resume

After a good 4th place in Race 1, Jules Cluzel started Race 2 with the aim to follow the podium group. The rider of the Yamaha R6 GMT94 #16 started perfectly from his 10th place on the starting grid. Unfortunately, as soon as the first turn of the first lap, a competitor came to touch without bad intention, the front wheel of Jules. Helpless against the impact, Jules fell. Fortunately, he escaped unhurt from this incident.

As in the previous day’s race, Andy Verdoïa could not take the start of the second round. A pain in his right forearm prevented him from doing so. A compartment syndrome is suspected. Andy has an appointment on Tuesday to meet a specialist.

The whole team wishes a quick recovery to Andy, and hopes to find him in good shape at Estoril on May 21st and 22nd, during the third round of the World Supersport Championship.
