Pau - France

Race resume

This weekend the 4th round of the French Superbike Championship took place at the circuit of Pau (France). In 2022, the GMT94 supports thirteen young people in this competition through its partners. France Equipement, GB Racing, the Mutuelle des Motards, BS Battery, Tecnoglobe and the FFM are all involved with the young people followed by the French team.

Martin Renaudin was once again able to take a podium in the Superbike category. Valentin Debise won both Supersport races and is now close to winning the wild-card in WorldSSP with GMT94. Johan Gimbert and Loic Arbel both had technical problems in Race 1, but made up for it in Race 2 with a top five finish. Indeed, the machines suffered from the heat wave on Saturday, while a prefectural decree forbade any competition during the day. So there was no FP3, nor qualifying session.

Justine Pedemonte, had a slow puncture in the race, and could only do better than 9th, whereas she had done two good practice sessions on Friday.

Hugo Robert and Lyvann Luchel are both convalescing and hope to return to competition very soon.

Enzo De La Vega, Bartholomé Perrin, Matéo Pedeneau, Lilian Di Lorenzo and Luca Cersosimo did their best to get closer to their respective goals. All race results and championship rankings are available on www.fsbk.fr.
