Race resume

From 21st to 23rd October, the GMT94 Yamaha team competed in the 10th round of the World Superbike Championship at the San Juan circuit (Argentina). A circuit which has often smiled to the team, since they won with Jules Cluzel the 2019 and 2021 edition. Jules Cluzel qualified in 6th place and crossed the finish line of both races in the same position. The weekend was difficult to manage on tyres. Indeed, an unusual visual using occurred for all competitors, without negatively impacting the grip. A real challenge to manage for the teams before the start of the two races. After retiring in Race 1, Andy Verdoia recovered in the warm-up (2nd) and in Race 2. He finished in 9th place. The very high temperatures made the race physical. Three times winner in Argentina with the GMT94 Yamaha #16 (2019-2021) Jules and the team were hoping for more. Still, they put up a good fight, with a good race pace. The GMT94 Yamaha team will now return to France for two weeks before heading to Indonesia in November!
