Portimao - Portugal

Race resume

Following a double podium finish in Jerez, the GMT94 team hit the road for round three of the World Supersport Championship at the Portimao circuit in Portugal.

Jules Cluzel preferred to use only one set of tyres per session on the first day, in order to prepare for the race. By finishing the day, at the second position, 68 thousandths off the leader on worn tyres, the target is clear for this weekend : victory.

Corentin Perolari, for his part, finished sixth, battling with the group in third place. The #94 rider is once again in a position to get on the podium.

Jules Cluzel: “For the first time this season I can say that we can fight for victory. In FP2, I carried out a race simulation which was excellent. I feel really confident on this track, and it promises great races this Saturday and Sunday.”

Corentin Perolari: “This weekend I got a little closer to the podium group compared to Jerez. Tomorrow it will be important to start on the first or second row in order not to lose time. I think I have my chance to play for both races! “
