Race resume

For the first free practice of the season, Jules Cluzel and Federico Caricasulo finished 4th and 5th in the general classification.

The heat was felt throughout the day. However, the rest of the weekend, promises to be much cooler. The aim of this first day was therefore to allow the riders to get back the feeling of a World Championship weekend. Slight adjustments were made, although the race conditions were going to be radically different.

The GMT94 riders are once again together in terms of performance. They continue to work together to bring the team to the top.

Jules Cluzel: “This day was important. It will allow us to arrive tomorrow with confidence, with a great bike. We have been performing well in the heat with a bike that is set up for cool weather. So I expect to make a step forward tomorrow in Superpole.”

Federico Caricasulo: “I missed some speed in the corners exit in this high heat to be more competitive, however I have a great feeling on the bike. I feel that I can still work on some corners to improve my pace. I expect a close race in which it will be important to overtake easily to make no mistakes.

See you tomorrow at 10.25am for the Superpole, then at 3.15pm for the first race, live on Eurosport!
