Race resume

For the last round of the WorldSSP Championship which takes place on the Asian continent, Jules Cluzel and Valentin Debise are motivated to finish the season with great results.

This Friday was the opportunity for all the riders to discover the circuit. The importance of the set-up is therefore particularly important given the short time on track before the Superpole scheduled for Saturday morning. There were significant gaps in FP1, which were considerably reduced in FP2.

The suspension settings satisfied the riders from the start. The questioning was more about the gearing to be used to race on this particular circuit.

Jules Cluzel finished the day in 6th place, 0.6 seconds off the lead, with the best top speed. After a heavy crash in FP1, Valentin Debise was back on track immediately. Indeed, the track was still dusty outside the main line. Valentin tried a new trajectory, and crashed without consequences. He finished 13th, 1.3 seconds behind first place. The two GMT94 riders still have a lot of room for improvement, which bodes well for this weekend.

The analysis of the data allowed to identify the points to improve. The two GMT94 Yamaha R6s will then be optimised for Superpole, which will give the riders even more confidence before the race.
