End of the Qualification Practice in Misano, Italy

22 June 2019

Misano (Italy)

Race resume

After a great FP3 under the rain, with the first and 8th position for Jules Cluzel and Corentin Perolari, the track was completly dry for the QP. GMT94 Yamaha can’t try different set-ups for dry conditions during FP3, and Jules has not been able to do more than a 5th place during the Superpole. Corentin Perolari will start the race in P15, due to a lack of confidence on his Yamaha R6.

Jules Cluzel : “Of course I’m disappointed of this result, I pushed really hard to get it, but we still don’t find where we miss something to fight for the 1st position. We all work hard, and we already have some settings in order to do better tomorrow, and to have another podium in the pocket.”

Corentin Perolari : ” I feel better than yesterday, I gained a full second, but I will start from P15. I will have to do a great race start, to overtake as much as possible and get points for the championship.”

See you Sunday at 12.10 p.m., live on Eurosport for the World Supersport race !
