San Juan - Argentina

Race resume

The two free practice sessions took place today at the San Juan circuit (Argentina). The track usually offers little grip during the first practice session, except this year. The riders were able to set a strong pace from the start. Jules Cluzel finished at the top of the timesheet, Andy Verdoia 8th, even though he had to discover the track.

During the second session, the track temperature exceeded 50 degrees. Excessively hot conditions, which radically transformed the feeling of the riders. Jules Cluzel still managed to take 3rd place, just one tenth behind the leader. Andy Verdoia kept his 8th place.

Christophe Guyot: “The race looks to be tighter than last year. We also need to check with the riders which type of tyre we should use for the race, as it seems that both have their advantages and disadvantages. Jules is in good shape, as is Andy, so we can expect a good race from our drivers.
