Donington - England

Race resume

It has been a great day for the rider of the Yamaha 16 who finishes with the best lap time of the day. Jules has been able to have a good rhythm with many laps in 1’30 – 1’31, and the best speed. Tomorrow will be cooler, opponents are strong, so the qualification practice will be interesting to follow.

Jules Cluzel : “ This first day has been nice for us. I’m glad of the improvements we did on the rear suspension. We still have to improve on some details in order to have more stability when I exit slow corners, but one thing is sure, I have a lot of fun on my Yamaha R6. I’m really looking forward to the QP, where the first row places will be well defended.”

Corentin Perolari : “Of course I’m disappointed of today. Donington circuit is different with its many fast corners in slope, where we need a lot of confidence in order to be quick. For the moment I’m blocked, and I will need to do a step forward, to be back in front.”
