P3 for Jules Cluzel and P10 for Corentin Perolari during the first day in Portimao, Portugal

The first session of the day took place at 11.30 a.m. (local time), under the sun and a high temperature. After two long runs, Jules Cluzel ends at the second position (+0.2). Corentin Perolari had some issues with his clutch, but finishes 9th of the FP1.

Jules ends 2nd of the afternoon session, and validated good settings on this difficult track. Corentin finished 10th, with the best time in Sector 4, and a good pace for the qualification practice.

Jules Cluzel : “We are glad of this first day. It’s hard to define a favorite. We have a good pace, but some of our opponents are able to be faster a one lap. Tomorrow will be important in order to improve on this point.”

Corentin Perolari : “I start to enjoy a lot on my Yamaha R6. I feel good, and I think it’s possible to do good things here. I find my sensations of last year, which is good for the end of the season.”
